Asiyah Farhane, MHC-LP

Asiyah Farhane stands out in her incredible passion and unwavering dedication in giving back to her community.

She earned her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College, and is a
Brooklyn native.  Asiyah is also a first generation Moroccan American, which has given her the invaluable personal experience of overcoming diversity and navigating the challenges American culture often throws at first generation Americans.  

Asiyah specializes in working with children and parents in navigating neurodivergence, intergenerational trauma, and multicultural experiences. Her patient and empathetic approach creates a safe space for families to navigate a multitude of challenges, and build on the strengths that come with neurodiversity and trauma.  

Asiyah has worked extensively with children and families within the carceral and foster care system. Asiyah embraces a holistic approach acknowledging the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being. Her dedication
to fostering growth and resilience in each client, is complemented by her ability to tailor therapeutic techniques to suit each individual's unique needs.


On her free time, Asiyah enjoys reading Sci-fi, and painting things she doesn’t finish.
